ignostiq builds AI-native HR products, starting with Pulse360, part of Pulse Suite: one shared architecture, with each customer’s data kept private to them.
We combine HR experience, academic collaboration and hands-on AI development.
Research informing our approach
Joint research with Prof. Alessandra Lazazzara at the University of Milan, which hosts the only full Master’s programme in AI for HR management. We support a PhD project on AI at work, and what it finds shapes how we design Pulse.

Resources for our AI development
We build the AI technology behind Pulse. Through the NVIDIA Inception program, NVIDIA’s startup programme, our team gains access to technical resources and training that support that development.
About the NVIDIA Inception program
Selected for AI acceleration
ignostiq was one of eight companies selected for Tehnopol’s six-month AI Accelerator, supported by Estonia’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications. We completed the 2026 programme.
Meet the selected teamsOne of us lived the HR problem. The other built the software meant to solve it.
Before ignostiq, we were in the same situations you are in. Three patterns kept coming up, and none of them get fixed by another generic tool.
Teams inherit tools built for someone else’s process, then bend their work to fit the software.
Engineers ship “configurable” platforms, but the flexibility rarely reaches the person running a real cycle.
“Going digital” often just means the same manual work, now spread across more tabs.
Projects optimise for storing data, not for the judgement calls HR has to make.
The tool assumes a tidy process; the real one is chasing, exceptions and last-minute edits.
Roadmaps chase features, while the messy reality of the work stays invisible.
So we build together: one from inside HR, one from inside software and complex systems.
Informed by conversations and product testing with more than 80 HR and technology leaders across Europe.
Deep HR experience and hands-on software depth at the heart of the company.
Fifteen years inside HR and organisational transformation meet twenty-plus years building digital products end to end. Alessio and Sergei met through Y Combinator’s Co-Founder Matching platform.
The HR side
Co-founder & CEO
Fifteen years leading HR and organisational transformation at Amplifon, Coesia, Fincantieri and Heidrick & Struggles, where he helped bring technology, data and AI into the business. One of the rare HR leaders who also works with prototypes and code, so he challenges technical decisions rather than just buying software. A previous founder and author of three books on AI, he leads product and pilots at ignostiq.
The product & tech side
Co-founder & CTO
More than 20 years building digital products end to end, from UX and product design to full-stack engineering and AI agents. He solo-built AI WooCommerce and Demands.app, and designed a Swedbank dashboard used daily by more than 5,000 employees. Earlier, he led design at Paxful and taught web technologies. At ignostiq he owns the product and technical architecture, from AI-agent orchestration to production.
Five commitments shape every product decision. The fifth, for us, goes beyond building an application.
Pulse360 is designed around how 360 feedback actually works, not around a general-purpose assistant pointed at HR.
Insights show their evidence and reasoning, and can be challenged, with no black-box scores.
Company context is isolated by customer and is not pooled across organisations.
People can review, edit, reject or override every AI-supported output.
Good tools should make HR teams sharper, not dependent. Human checkpoints keep people thinking, instead of quietly handing judgement to the machine.
How we build
Agnostic by design
Free of fixed assumptions: no bets locked to one model, one vendor or one rigid way of working.
Model-agnostic
We choose the best model for each task and can switch as the field moves.
Context-aware
Your results are shaped by how your organisation actually works, not a one-size-fits-all average.
No provider lock-in
Not tied to a single AI vendor, so you are not tied to one either.
No workflow lock-in
Not built around one rigid process. The product adapts to how you already work.
This is not only a technical principle. It is how the company, architecture and products are organised.
Pulse360 is our first live product, with 5 completed or running pilots across Europe. It runs on Pulse Suite, the shared architecture behind every ignostiq product, so you never have to redo uploads or settings, and each customer’s data and context stay private to them. Alesserg Technology OÜ is the legal entity behind the ignostiq brand.
